Mark Sanchez, the fourth overall pick by the New York Jets in this past year's draft has received an awful lot of criticism as of late. Sanchez started off 3-0 and was viewed as an olympian. (Get it? he played for the USC Trojans? nevermind...) The Jets have lost three straight since, Sanchez throwing just 2 TD's and 10 INT's in those three games. Now, some would call him a culpable man, making a first round pick a pariah in his rookie year. Everyone needs to calm down. Of course there are all the New York Giant fans who are laughing and saying how bad Mark Sanchez is. Do they not remember Eli Manning going 1-6 as a rookie? Sanchez has already far exceeded Eli as a rookie, and shows great promise. Maybe i'm just trying to have some chauvinism, but I believe in Sanchez, and think he can lead the Jets to great places. He can't be maudlin at all, or he will get nothing accomplished. He just has to forget about the past and concentrate on the next opponent. I mean, out of the 10 interceptions, 4 of them were tips, and two of them were hail mary's at the end of the game or half. Im sure Sanchez will step back up to the level he played at for the first three weeks and imbue faith back into the Jets' fans.

What's with all the hate on Sanchez?
